My 5 y/o dog was in and out of the office a few times in March for illnesses that are tricky to find and diagnose (especially with my pups medical history) but treatable when found. Dr. Schuelke was the Vet who we were dealing with but we worked with almost everyone at least once. They were able to get us right in when we needed for same day visits, one including sedation for xrays, ultrasound and testing. Dr. Schulke was incredibly kind and thorough throughout the process. Pricing was reasonable for the care we received and I didnt feel they pushed anything unnecessary on us. The staff got to know us well since I called/ emailed almost daily throughout with new symptoms and a multitude of questions about my pups symptoms and care throughout the process. They were all so kind and compassionate, i felt bad for calling so often but they never made me feel bad and I always got an answer same day. As soon as we figured out a diagnosis, treatment was started immediately. We have been back twice for quick blood tests to ensure she is recovering as expected. (She is!) I live in CT and commute almost an hour here, but I wouldnt even think of looking anywhere else. The team cares so much and does amazing work. Thank you for your thoroughness and for bringing my girl back.

I want to thank Dr. Fisher and her staff for all the wonderful care she’s given my two Siberian huskies for the last few years, recently I had to have the second husky put down and I feel that they are so kind and caring there that if I could go to them for my own health I’d go to see them. I would recommend Dr. Fisher and her staff at Wood River veterinarian to everyone. I live in South Kingstown and it’s 35 minutes away from my house and I gladly drove to get my pets care. Thank you again Dr. Fisher and all your wonderful staff, it’s not just a job, you really care about the pets that you treat. Keep up the good work 🩷
